Hey there, I’m Nghia Tran! While I wasn’t born in Texas, I got here as fast as I could, and it quickly became home. My love affair with photography began at 16 when I picked up a camera to capture my travels. What started as a simple hobby quickly evolved into a deep passion. Photography has taught me to slow down and truly appreciate my surroundings—a practice that sometimes tests my friends’ patience, though they never complain when they see the photos!
Over the years, I’ve traveled far and wide, capturing moments in diverse lighting conditions, refining my skills, and learning to adapt to every environment. Whether it’s a studio session or an outdoor adventure, I love photographing portraits and headshots that tell a story. As someone who respects the outdoors deeply, I follow Leave No Trace principles to ensure that nature remains as breathtaking for others as it is for us.
One place that holds a special piece of my heart is Glacier National Park. My first visit in 2016 left me in awe, and after a week of backpacking there with friends, I knew I wanted to get married in that magical place. Back then, I don’t think anyone took me seriously. But fate stepped in, and I met a beautiful woman who shared my love for the outdoors. A few years later, I married the woman of my dreams on the shores of Lake McDonald. Eloping was one of the best decisions we’ve ever made—it was intimate, meaningful, and true to us.
