Samantha & Lloyd | Elope at the Historic 1910 Courthouse

Samantha reached out to me after seeing one of my photos on Pinterest. Her and her fiancé, Lloyd, had fallen in love with my work and my reasons for eloping resonated with them. We hopped on a phone call to talk about the details and I couldn’t have been more excited to photograph her and Lloyd. I had photographed another couple here before, but not inside. I was ready with new ideas and they were willing to trust me.

The forecast in Houston leading up to their special day wasn’t looking good, but neither of us were stressed about it. I had umbrellas and protective gear ready to go. They would embrace the rain if it came down to it. Luckily the rain (mostly) held off and the rest is history.
